Tracey Allyn Cutler
Tracey Cutler has been a professional dancer of Broadway, a choreographer, and an innovator in the fitness industry for 20 years. Classically trained at the School of American Ballet in New York City and taught by renowned choreographers Mia Michaels and Joe Lanteri, she has enjoyed a successful career in the dance and theater industry.
As a gifted performer, Tracey earned leading roles in The Phantom of the Opera, Cats, Camelot, and A Chorus Line, in addition to performing as a Knicks City Dancer, being featured in the Radio City Christmas Spectacular and much more. Tracey has also spent many years as a dance and fitness instructor leading professional level classes at the prestigious Reebok Sports Club New York and Club Sport in Las Vegas, and is the former owner of Project Dance in California, a performing arts program that brought music, dance, and theater to the public school system. Tracey ‘s choreography was recently showcased in the musical comedy The Drowsy Chaperone (2006 multiple Tony Award winner) as part of Spring Mountain Ranch State Park’s 2011 Super Summer Theater. Currently, Tracey is a cast member of M&M’s show, Love 2 Dance, performing at the South Point Casino.
Tracey has earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology and a Master of Education degree. She is certified by the American Council on Exercise ACE, ZUMBA, SH’BAM, TKB and CPR.
Keena Dawn Smith
Born in Riverside, Calif. and raised in Las Vegas, Nev., Keena Dawn Smith’s movement training began at the early age of five with studies in dance and gymnastics that lead to becoming a competitive gymnast from age nine to 17. She enjoyed extensive performance and travel opportunities while working with numerous professional artists. She has studied the Martha Graham technique; perform featured roles choreographed by celebrated artists Alvin Ailey, Donald McKayle American Dance Festival, an intensive modern dance workshop held annually in Durham, North Carolina, on the campus of Duke University, and the Dayton Contemporary Dance Company (DCDC); as well as performed in EFX Starring Michael Crawford at the MGM Grand Hotel and Casino.
Just off an eight year engagement with Walt Disney’s The Lion King as a cast member in the original Broadway, Los Angeles, and Cheetah National Touring Companies, Keena is excited to return home to Las Vegas to continue being focused and involved in dance education and instruction within the community. Smith holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Dance from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas and a Masters of Fine Arts degree in Dance from the University of California, Irvine.
Hanifa Jackson
Hanifa Jackson hails from Philadelphia, Pa. where she received her formal training with the Pennsylvania Ballet and Philadanco! The Philadelphia Dance Company. Hanifa received her Bachelors of Fine Arts degree from the prestigious Juilliard School in New York City. She has had the honor of dancing with Alvin Ailey II, Complexions Contemporary Dance Company, and Ballet Hispanico. Hanifa performed leading roles in West side Story, The Lion King, and is currently featured in Mystère by Cirque du Soleil.
Tony Coppola
With long standing national recognition as a tap dance virtuoso, all-american gymnast, master dance teacher, and professional percussionist, Tony Coppola is in high demand as performer, choreographer and instructor. His TV credits include having choreographed specials for ABC, USA network and PBS, as well as many TV commercials including McDonald’s. Tony choreographed the World Gold Gymnastics tour, starring Nadia Comaneci and a cast of Olympic gold medalists and Hollywood dancers. Tony was honored to have had Capezio name a tap dance shoe after him! He has taught outreach classes for the Kennedy Center’s Imagination Celebration. Tony’s music theatre credits include having done the lead role in “George M.”, and having choreographed productions of: West Side Story, Chicago, Tommy, Seven Brides for Seven Brothers, Kiss me Kate and many others. He was on faculty at UNLV for five years where he became a published author, having written “Invitation to the Dance” which can be seen on Amazon. Tony teaches jazz dance at Las Vegas Academy and directs a professional Tap and Rhythm ensemble. Tony takes particular pride in creating the RHYTHKIDDZ, a combination of music, dance and fitness promoting enhanced coordination in children.
Brianne Morgan danced with Inland Pacific Ballet professionally for nine years before joining Phantom-The Las Vegas Spectacular, originating the role of Meg Giry. She’s had the pleasure of dancing as a soloist and as a lead in Serenade, Who Cares?, Cinderella, Coppélia, Swan Lake, The Nutcracker Ballet, The Little Mermaid, Sleeping Beauty and Giselle. She also toured with the Radio City Christmas Spectacular starring the Radio City Rockettes for two years. While performing, Brianne taught all levels of ballet and Pilates at the Inland Pacific Ballet Academy.
Morgan has been involved in giving back to the Las Vegas community through Family Promise benefits A Phantom Family Holiday and three productions of God Lives In Glass and Hope, an afternoon of classical dancing and singing.
Pendu (neè Kishema Pendu Malik) is a professional dancer, choreographer instructor and fitness specialist from New York City, currently residing in Las Vegas, Nev. and performs in The Beatles LOVE by Cirque Du Soleil. Pendu’s training spans many styles including the Lester Horton, Martha Grahan and Katherine Dunham techniques; ballet, hip hop, West African, Latin, dancehall, jazz, Yap, Capoeira and gymnastics.
Her dance credits include the Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater, Dance Theatre of Harlem, Stevie Wonder, Redman, Eric Benèt, Summer Jam Los Angeles featuring Mya and Ashanti, NIKE, WNBA/NBA All-Star games, Angie Stone, fitness commercials and much more; she has choreographed for UK hip hop group Cush, Morning Star International conventions, Cirque Du Soleil, Nevada Ballet Theater, independent artists in Los Angeles and various dance companies in South America; Hi Hat Entertainment’s VH1 Pilot “Choreographer’s Balls” also known as the Carnival: A Choreographer’s Ball at the famous Key Club in Los Angeles and two movies that have aired on the Showtime Network.
Ann-Marie Pereth has been in the fitness industry for eight years. Her current certifications include Zumba, Zumba Toning, Zumba Gold, TKB, Schwinn and Silver and Fit. Currently, she teaches Zumba, Pilates and cycling for 24hour Fitness, Club Sport and Gold’s Gym. Her loyal followers describe her as talented, creative, inspiring, and a role model for health and fitness.
With a passion for performing, Pereth has been involved in theatre and dance since she was 10 years old, beginning her training with the award winning Rainbow Company Youth Theatre. Her theater experience includes performing, directing and choreographing with many world-renowned theatres throughout the country including Utah Shakespeare, Pacific Conservatory of the Performing Arts and American Girl in New York City. Pereth was recently the assistant director and dance captain for The Drowsy Chaperone (2006 multiple Tony Award winner) as part of Spring Mountain Ranch State Park’s 2011 Super Summer Theater and working towards her Master of Fine Arts in Directing at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas.
Drea Lee
Originally from Canada, Drea has performed and trained in numerous places around the world. Drea has trained extensively in Ukrainian dance, ballet, jazz, and hip hop. Some stage performances include: Silver Sea Cruise Lines; World Volunteer Conference Edmonton; Aberdeen Scotland Youth Festival; EXPO in Germany; various hotel resorts in New York; EPCOT in Florida; major cities across Canada; and the movie premiere “This Is It” at the Palms for Michael Jackson’s family and friends. Most recently Drea performed at LA’s Carnival, in the Variety Show at the V Theatre and Broadway Bares at Planet Hollywood.
Drea has attained numerous awards and achievements including: the Monsters of Hip Hop Scholarship Santa Clara, the Toronto Street Groove Scholarship, acceptance into AMDA in New York, a participant in the Elite Locking Training Camp with Greg Campbellock and was selected as a part time choreographer for the NBA Seattle Sonics dance team. Recently, Drea choreographed a piece for the LA Unbound show at the El Portal Theatre in LA and the Las Vegas Locos Dance Team. Drea was also a dancer and choreographer assistant for Jesse Lee Santos at the 2011 Paul Mitchell Hair Show at the Aria Resort.
Jaqueline Andrea
Jaqueline Andrea is a dancer, Model, voice talent, and motivator who has been dancing and choreographing for over 15 years. Born in Guatemala, Central America, Jaqueline has the rhythm in her blood. She has been featured as a professional dancer for Latin rhythms such as Salsa, Merengue and Cha cha. She added Zumba to her bag of tricks because she knows how important it is to get people inspired to stay fit and move. “MUSIC IS THE BEST VITAMIN FOR THE SOUL”, says Jackie. Zumba has allowed Jackie the opportunity to share her love of dancing with a wider range of people. She loves working with people of all ages and fitness levels. In her opinion, nothing beats the feeling of seeing someone free their mind, body, and soul, and move to the beat of the music! Jackie’s unique way of making people move their bodies has created a large group of loyal fans for her phenomenal class!
Andrew has spent many years as a professional ballroom dancer and fitness trainer. While coaching Ballroom and Latin dance in New York, Andrew also studied Ballet, Jazz, Modern and Contemporary Dance. He received his training at the prestigious New York Schools: Broadway Dance Center, Steps on Broadway and Dance New Amsterdam. He studied extensively in Simonson technique, and modern jazz under Katiti King. Andrew competed professionally in the International Latin division, winning many State Championships, the U.S. Triple Crown, and capturing the 1999 United States Latin American Couple of the year with his partner, Tsha Marie. Andrew has extensive entertainment industry experience in film, television and stage, appearing in national television ads, movies and music videos. He toured with the 2006-2007 North American tour of Dancing with the Stars and spent 2008 on stage in Amsterdam as a featured performer in the stage production of Dirty Dancing.
While Andrew continues to perform, choreograph and instruct in the dance world, he has also taken his love of movement into the fitness world. Andrew is a certified TRX Suspension Trainer and a R.I.P.P.E.D. Fitness Instructor. Andrew shares his talent and love of movement so that everyone can feel strong, flexible and confident to achieve any dream.
Perri Samano was born and raised in Las Vegas, Nevada, which is where she began her dancer training. Perri competed nationally for over ten years, participating in competitions and conventions all the way from New York City to California. Her hard work and training led her to attain such awards as an elite scholarship for West Coast Dance Explosion, V.I.P. dancer for Jump competition and convention, as well as performances such as the East Meets West Dance Conference at the Paris Hotel and Casino. Perri graduated from Las Vegas Academy of International and Performing Arts majoring in dance, which is where she began teaching and choreographing professionally. Perri is currently pursuing her degree in communications with a minor in journalism and media studies at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. She continues to teach and choreograph events on campus such as homecoming and other Panhellenic council events. Perri wants to continue living her dreams while uplifting the Vegas community with the art of dance.
Angel Favela
Angel received a Bachelor of Arts in Dance from New Mexico State University (NMSU) where he cross-trained with Dr. Debra W. Knapp, former student of Bill Evans-Bartenieff technique, and Frank A. Gilpin & Lucilene de Geus, students of Pablo Rodarte, worldwide Flamenco dancer/choreographer. Throughout his collegiate career, Angel was recognized by the University’s dance program for choreographic excellence and outstanding performance. Additionally, Angel founded and directed the Aggie DanceSport Team, a competitive Latin and Ballroom dance organization. Angel is recognized at the Texas A & M American College Dance Festival (ACDF) for his choreography and performance. He became the first and only student choreographer from NMSU to ever obtain this honour. Angel was also a member of three dance companies: Contemporary Dance Theatre Company (modern dance), NMSU DanceSport Company (Latin and Ballroom), and Sol Y Arena (Flamenco). Angel Favela has been living, teaching, choreographing and performing in Las Vegas for the last year. He continues to compete professionally and perform locally with the Nevada Repertoire Dance Theater (NRDT).
Trish has been a personal trainer and group exercise instructor with AFAA since 1997. She is certified in Yoga, Kickboxing, PILOXING, and has an advanced certification in Stott Pilates. Trish’s extensive background, seasoned technique and sparkling personality have enabled her to teach in various prestigious settings to a wide range of fitness levels. Trish currently owns and instructs at Pilates Element. In addition, she has three kids who keep her on her toes! Trish’s passion is staying healthy and balanced in her life, as well as helping others to find inner peace, strength and balance in their own lives.
Cheri Linden
Cheri Linden is a dancer, choreographer, personal trainer, and fitness instructor with over 20 years experience in the industry. Her current certifications include: AFAA, Personal Trainer, AFAA Group Fitness Instructor, CPR Certified, & Master Trainer in GeoFitness, Gliding, Zumba Fitness, and Zumba Toning. Fitness Applications Include: Kickboxing, Indoor Cycling (Spin), Pilates, Step Aerobics, Gliding, Body Sculpting, Zumba Fitness, Zumba Toning, and Dance Aerobics. Cheri has previous experience in being a professional sales consultant for Nautilus and Jenny Craig, and held the Western Regional Sales Manager Position as well as the Director of Training for GeoFitness, Inc.
Cheri believes in the power of dance and movement, and is very passionate that everyone can have the love and gift! She motivates with that same passion and gives through the music.
Shannon Winkel
For the last 15 years, Shannon Winkel has performed leading roles in musicals all over the country. Some of her recent accomplishments include being cast in Spring Mountain Ranch Super Summer Theater’s production of “Drowsy Chaperone” as Janet van de Graaf, Signature Productions’ “Singing in the Rain” as Kathy Seldon, and Super Summer Theater’s ”Crazy For You” as Polly this summer. Shannon also appeared Off Broadway in National Tours, and in many regional theaters around the country. Locally, Shannon won the Review Journal’s “Tony Award” for best choreography in Vegas for her production of “Once on This Island” at SST. Shannon’s unique choreography was showcased in “Five Guys Named Moe”, “Thoroughly Modern Millie”, and tap choreography in PSFX’s production of “Drowsy Chaperone”. An accomplished vocalist as well, Shannon musically directed the award winning “All Shook Up”, “Damn Yankees”, “Hairspray”, “Little Shop”, ”Willy Wonka”, “Drowsy Chaperone”, and “Crazy For You”. Shannon holds a B.F.A. in Music Dance Theater from BYU and is known for her teaching skills in advanced tap, musical theater, and private piano and voice lessons.
Scott Barnard
Scott appeared as a ‘principal dancer’ in the famed “Jubilee” show at Bally’s Hotel in Las Vegas, for 14 years. During his time there he also performed in several industrial shows, telethons and pageants. He is well known in the Las Vegas area as a performer and choreographer. Scott’s passion also led him to dance in, choreograph and eventually direct Nevada’s largest HIV/AIDS benefit for Golden Rainbow’s “Ribbon Of Life” in Las Vegas to rave reviews. He now enjoys passing along his knowledge of dance and exercise to others.
